Shakib’s Jamaica Tallawahs registers massive win

In the 17th match of the Caribbean Premier League 2016, Jamaica Tallawahs has configured a big win against Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots at the Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica. The home team have beaten the tourists by 108 runs on Sunday.

Chasing the daunting target of 183 thrown by Jamaica Tallawahs after batting first, was never been easy going for Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots. The wickets started faltering from the very beginning of their innings as Andre Russell hit in the third ball of the first over taking the wicket of Lendl Simmons without scoring any run.

 The Patriots lost their South African recruit Faf Du Plessis at the score of 12 before Ervin Lewis and J Carter formed a petty third wicket partnership of 41 runs. However both Carter and Lewis departed in the ninth over, leaving the Patriots into a disarray once again.

Saint Kitts and Nevis Patriots was never able to hold the grip in the match as wickets started tumbling. Thomas and Hodge both got out without adding a single run on the board. Patriots were bowled out for 75 runs in 15.5 overs.

Shakib Al Hasan picked two wickets for two runs in his two overs.
