Muhammad Harun-ur-Rashid is currently undergoing treatment at Ibn Sina Hospital in Dhanmondi due to old age related physical ailments.
Prof. Mohammad Haroon-ur-Rashid is well known as an essayist, translator, educationist, multilingual. He mainly composed thought-provoking works in Bengali and English languages. His translation is as pleasant as the original works written in Bengali. The vivacity and breadth of thought which had appeared in him at a young age grew and matured day by day. His articles are not many in number. But deeper in meaning. His study of religion, philosophy, literature of home and abroad.
